Sound Familiar?

Your T&D quote just came in and it's 30% higher than last year — again

You have 12 contaminated sites and budget for 3

The regulator wants a remediation timeline and you don't have one yet

Rain is in the forecast and you know how slick the roads in NEBC get... one of these trucks is going for a ride and now we have 2 sites to handle.

You have contaminated groundwater in your excavation site, and no remediation plan in place

The Dig-and-Dump Default is costing you more than you think. There's a better way.

BioLogix doesn't relocate contamination — it destroys it at the molecular level.

The Science

This Isn't the Bioremediation That Failed in the '90s

University-validated, field-proven, verifiable science — backed by 4 research partnerships and $500K+ in funded research.

Re2Growth Bioreactor

We don't sell dormant bugs in a jug. We manufacture trillions of live bacteria on your site with our Re2Growth bioreactor — fresh, active cultures custom-grown for your contaminants.

This is the critical difference between Delta and every other bioremediation company. Off-the-shelf products ship dormant organisms that may never activate in field conditions. Re2Growth produces verified-active cultures on demand. At scale.

Fluorescence Spectroscopy Verification

Before a single drop goes into the ground, we verify bacterial populations in real-time with fluorescence spectroscopy. No guesswork — just data.

Most bioremediation vendors can't tell you if their product is alive when it leaves the bottle. We verify activity at every stage of deployment.

Most projects complete in 30–90 days. The Toxic Landfill legacy will live on for hundreds of years.

Phase Typical Duration
Site Assessment 1–2 weeks
Treatment Plan Development 1–2 weeks
Active Treatment 1–4 weeks
Sampling & Verification 3–4 months post-treatment
Regulatory Closure 2–4 months
Remediation timeline comparison: Conventional Hydrovac & Disposal (3 months) vs BioLogix on-site treatment (~7 weeks). Southern Alberta Lagoon: 19 days to 99.99% degradation.

Timeline Comparison: Conventional vs. BioLogix On-Site

Surface water treatments, like the example above, are typically faster and easier to complete than soil treatments.

Addressing the Elephant

We Know What You're Thinking

You've heard of bioremediation. You might have even seen it fail. Here's how Delta is different.

"I've seen bioremediation fail before."

You're right to be skeptical. If you've seen bioremediation fail, it probably did — because the vendor used off-the-shelf bacteria without understanding field application. That's not an unreasonable conclusion.

But consider this: 99.99% crude oil degradation in 19 days. That's not a lab result — that's a field result from a 5,000+ liter crude oil spill in Southern Alberta. Delta's BioLogix is university-developed, vertically integrated, with 90%+ removal rates across hundreds of field deployments. Past bioremediation failed because the vendor didn't close the feedback loop from field back to R&D. Delta does.

"The science is unproven at field scale."

Many bio technologies look great in the lab and fail in the field. That's been the industry's biggest problem.

But consider this: Delta has deployed BioLogix across Canada, Kenya, Kuwait, Australia, and the Arctic — not lab studies. Including 36,000 m³ at a marine port facility and 1,400 m³ in the Arctic at an operating mine site in NWT. The products are DSL listed and federally approved — government regulatory approval, not just internal testing. ISO 9001 certified operations with a zero-incident safety record.

"On-site treatment can't meet our timelines."

Regulatory deadlines are real. If you're worried about timeline, that's the right thing to worry about.

But consider this: What actually slows conventional projects is securing trucks, scheduling landfill, weather delays, and scope creep from deeper contamination. Delta's on-site treatment skips all of that. Southern Alberta lagoon: 19 days. Pipeline release: 45 days to full regulatory closure. A mining client in NWT: 6 days on-site. Plan ahead and meet regulatory requirements in the same season.

From Our Founder

"Actually remediating your site doesn't have to cost more than landfill."

"Remediation is a contact sport — How you complete the treatment is equally as important to the technology of choice, be it chemical or biological."

"Soil that can be treated should be treated."

Where We Excel — And Where We Don't

Not for Emergency Response

We specialize in post-emergency residual contamination. Active spills need containment first — then we step in.

Not for Non-Hydrocarbon Contamination

BioLogix is optimized for TPH, BTEX, and PAHs. Heavy metals and non-organic contaminants require different treatment approaches.

19 Days is Exceptional, Not Universal

Our contaminated lagoon result is a documented best case. Most projects take 90-120 days — timelines are site-dependent.

Very Small Volumes May Not Save Money

If you have a small volume near a disposal facility, dig-and-dump may be comparable. We'll tell you honestly if that's the case.

Our goal is to first ensure your site is actually a good candidate for BioLogix. If it is we can improve your sustainability goals while maximizing your rem budget, and if your site isn't a good candidate we'll tell you.

The Delta Cost Guarantee

We guarantee our cost will never exceed what you'd pay for an all-in trucking and disposal option.

Your worst case is that you eliminated your long-term liability while increasing your firm's sustainability. Your best case is up to 75% savings.

We can't guarantee every site but we are dedicated to changing the narrative on soil disposal in Canada and we're willing to put our money where our mouth is. See if your site qualifies for our guaranteed approach.

FAQ

Soil Remediation Questions

What is the difference between bioremediation and traditional soil remediation?
Traditional remediation (dig-and-dump) excavates contaminated soil and trucks it to a landfill — relocating the contamination without destroying it. Bioremediation uses microbial processes to break down contaminants into harmless byproducts like CO2 and water, permanently eliminating the contamination and your liability.
Does on-site soil remediation work in cold Canadian climates?
Yes. Delta has deployed BioLogix in the Arctic at an operating mine site in NWT and across Northern Alberta. Our formulations are developed and tested specifically for Canadian soil conditions, including cold-climate environments. Our field track record includes remote northern sites.
What happens to the soil after on-site treatment?
The treated soil stays on-site and is returned to a clean, usable condition. Contaminants are converted to CO2 and water through microbial degradation — there's nothing to remove, backfill, or dispose of. Post-treatment sampling verifies the soil meets regulatory closure criteria.
Does bioremediation work in cold weather or winter?
Yes. Delta's BioLogix formulations have proven efficacy across a temperature gradient from 5°C to 30°C. We've deployed successfully at mines in the Arctic and across Northern Alberta, BC, and Manitoba in low temp conditions. Our university research partnerships have specifically validated cold-climate performance.
What does BioLogix do to plants and the ecosystem in the long term?
As the contaminant is depleted, elevated bacterial populations decrease and eventually return to normal levels. There are no known long-term negative effects of bioremediation. One study completed with the University of Alberta determined that willow plants grew better in contaminated and treated soils than the same soils that were not contaminated at all.
How is Delta different from other bioremediation companies?
Three things set Delta apart: (1) We manufacture live bacteria on-site with our Re2Growth bioreactor instead of shipping dormant products, (2) we verify bacterial activity with fluorescence spectroscopy before deployment, and (3) we have 4 university research partnerships (U of A, UBC, Calgary, Olds College) that continuously improve our formulations based on hundreds of successful deployments. Most bio companies buy bacteria from a supplier and hope it works. We control the entire chain.

We are the only bioremediation technology developer with boots on. Our field crews create a constant feedback loop, allowing for continual improvement of the BioLogix remediation process.
